The prototype is actively being improved — comfort, stability, battery life and the stimulation system are all still changing between iterations. The on/off switch in the video is the V1 control; a proper power button replaces it in V2. Every feature shown is still under development. What you see here illustrates the concept, not the finished product. Nothing shown is available for sale.

Intended use NeuraSole is designed to be used at rest — seated or standing still, not mid-stride.

Rest is part of the design, for two reasons. A still foot keeps the stimulation pads in steady contact with the skin. And the stimulation is intended for the moments after activity — when the muscles and nerves in the foot are already aggravated — rather than during it. Wear it all day for support; switch the stimulation on when you sit down or stand still.

Engineering and durability results from our own bench testing: they describe how the hardware is built and holds up, not symptom relief or clinical benefit.

Status The stimulation technology is currently being optimized and validated.

We can describe what NeuraSole is designed to do, but we have not yet established how well it does it. That testing is the work in front of us — and it's the reason we want to hear from you now rather than after.

How we got here

Built in steps, tested at every one.

Where NeuraSole started, and where it is now.

  1. Listened first

    We interviewed 33 people who live with foot discomfort. Their answers — what they do all day, what they've tried, what they'd actually wear — became the design requirements everything since has been tested against.

  2. Took it to a specialist

    Before building further, we put the concept in front of a practicing podiatrist. The guidance became part of the design brief: expect temporary relief, not a cure; build it as a companion to the care that already works — bracing, physical therapy — never a replacement; and take the contraindications seriously.

  3. Built the first prototype

    Support shell, stimulation pads and the electronics, assembled and working in our own lab — a real object, not a rendering.

  4. Filed the patent

    The application is on file and now under the USPTO's fast-track examination program.

  5. Rebuilt it, twice

    Three prototype generations and a working phone app, each build put through the same bench tests — load, wear, battery, Bluetooth.

  6. Next: validation

    Finishing the electrode design and measuring how the stimulation performs. The early-access list below is where those results land first.

Who's building this

NeuraSole is being built by a mechanical engineer who has lived with foot discomfort since childhood — through school sports, long days on a college campus, and a pair of custom orthotics that ended up in a drawer. NeuraSole is the product that was missing.
